Reading plan
Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Create a reading plan for our Reading All Year 2,500 book challenge.
To create a reading plan, you should make a new page on your Barnesclass.com web site and link it to your home page.
Call the link, My RAY project.
Call the link URL, LastnameFirstnameRAY.
If you need help creating a page, find a peer who is good at it or go to the Web Site Help tab on the left-side menu.
When the page is created, add the following content:
- Begin your new RAY web page with your plan. Follow these steps:
- Place a bold header on the page called, Reading Plan.
- List all of the genres we have to read -- they are on the RAY page, linked on the left-side menu.
- Begin finding books in these genres -- look on the shelves, ask friends for recommendations, ask Mrs. Hubler.
- Write as many titles that interest you next to each genre. These are titles you plan on reading later.
- This will also become a checklist for you.
Read for the rest of the class period.
IMPORTANT: bring your book to class every day.
